Research interests

Not being overly decisive when it comes to single study organisms I developed a sense of curiosity for systems often regarded by me as "information soups", aka microbiomes or environmental DNA. Looking for optimized ways to disentangle and understand underlying drivers, interactions, and dynamics within such complex communities has become a major focus of my academic journey. I now have the opportunity to use my experience in this field for a PhD project offering great potential for a variety of applications in forensics.
