Research interests
I am interested in evolutionary biology and conservation genetics and, to some degree, how this research can be applied beyond academia. For my PhD I am exploring the evolutionary history of free-roaming domestic dogs. I am interested in how selection has shaped their genomes and how populations have adapted to their local environments across geographically distant regions. My research combines field sampling, laboratory work and bioinformatic analyses.
